Academic Goals:

    In high school, I’m planning on taking honors English the whole 4 years, and I’m also taking geometry this year, in place of Algebra, and I would say that I excel in it.  I stopped playing volleyball this year, so I would like to join some club or some after school activities. To improve those skills, I’m going to keep working hard and trying my hardest.  After the bell rings, I ride the bus home, and then start my homework before I do anything else. I do this because then I won’t have to worry about finishing my homework later. My goals in high school are honestly to get the best grades I can, and to try my hardest.  After high school I definitely want to go to college. I’m not 100 percent sure where I want to go, but I know some places that I could go to, like Michigan State University or Berkley, which is in California. For some reason, I’ve always thought of going there, so that’s something I’d consider.  A third college that I would consider is Michigan University. I don’t prefer one or the other, like many people. Either way, I know I want to go to college for sure!

Career Goals

    When I grow up, I want to become a journalist. I love writing, and I would love to write for a newspaper! For me, writing isn’t like a chore; it’s something that is fun for me. Hopefully, I could work in Michigan, maybe even at the Grand Rapids Press. After working there for a while, I would love to work for the New York Times. That’s my goal for my career. Also, it would be great if I could work from home, and not from an office. That probably wouldn’t happen right when I start working, but later in my career.  That’s ultimately my career goals, and anything that involves journalism, and writing, I would love to do!
